5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 days before the scheduled work start date.
  • Deposits may not be refundable if materials have already been purchased or work has begun.
  • If we cancel a project due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund for work not performed.


6. Warranty & Liability

  • We provide a one-year warranty on workmanship. Material warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
  • The warranty does not cover damage due to:

    • Misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance.
    • Structural changes made by third parties.
    • Acts of nature (storms, floods, earthquakes, etc.).

  • Limitation of Liability: We are not responsible for:

    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service use.
    • Delays caused by weather, material shortages, or supplier issues.
    • Any modifications made by other contractors after project completion.


7. Permits & Compliance

  • Customers must obtain necessary permits unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
  • We comply with Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) standards and local building codes.
  • Customers must ensure worksite accessibility and provide truthful project details to avoid legal issues.


8. Health & Safety

  • We follow strict safety procedures and comply with Work Health & Safety (WHS) regulations.
  • Customers must ensure the site is safe and disclose any known hazards before work begins.
  • We are not liable for injuries due to non-compliance with our safety instructions.


9. Intellectual Property

  • All logos, images, website content, and marketing materials are owned by Hayward Built.
  • Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
